Ohhhh Canada
Ohhhh Canada. You ate my soul on the eve of your birthday. Let’s see if we can retrace how it all happened.
10:30pm: I leave my house and go to Glowbal, sit out back in Afterglow a do one round of shots.
11:00pm: I make my way to VENUE Nightclub on Granville Street have a drink or two, hang out for a bit, long enough for Nic to check out the club and then make tracks.
11:15pm: We meet up with Allen Trottier and Cory Jennerman of clubZone.com and check out Cellar which was packed. After a couple rounds I get a text from Mark from Pure Image Entertainment who tells me to hurry up and get to Pop Opera.
12:05am: We arrive at Pop Opera, sit down at the PI Ent and Solid table and start on the first bottle of vodka.
12:??am: First bottle down, we moved to another table and crack another bottle.
Around 1:30am: Nic leaves me there at the mercy of the guys. Many rounds of shots come out.
Between 2:30 and 3:00am: Very drunk, I stand up and walk out without telling anyone, I walk, well stumble home, end up walking in about 6 circles looking for a pizza place. Get home somehow finally. Fall into the walls a few times. Wake up next day still drunk, stinking like a distillery.
In other news – who saw that line at Celebrities? By 9pm there was 300 people in it. That’s impressive.
